I have bought a barebones tiny little PC. Without any RAM or storage, it came out as relatively very cheap. I bought 2x16gb sticks of RAM from CeX (second-hand computing store) and a 1TB NVMe SSD to complete the setup. Installing the RAM and SSD was a breeze. Since I intend to use Bazzite (a Fedora-based Linux distribution) as the operating system, I also had to replace the Mediatek Wi-Fi chip with something more compatible with Linux.

The RAM was relatively very inexpensive, for the current times, and I even memtested it, which it passed.

I specifically selected a mini PC with OCuLink support, which allows for external GPU expansion in the future. But so far everything I tend to play has been running very smoothly on the integrated AMD Radeon 780M!
